Quiet Days

“Come away with me to a quiet place and rest a while.”
Jesus, in Mark 6.31

Guided Quiet Days
Each month (usually on the third Saturday, although we have added some weekdays by popular request) we host a guided quiet day.  Each day includes meditation and mindfulness practices accessible for the beginner. There are occasions for silence, conversation, creativity and, whatever the weather, opportunities to be outdoors. These quiet days are grounded in the Christian tradition, drawing on Ignatian, Benedictine and Celtic spiritualities.

Over the coming months we will be exploring a variety of themes. To find out more take a look at our programme.

Self-Guided Quiet Days for Groups
Are you looking for somewhere to bring your small group or ministry team for a quiet day? Charlecote Quiet Garden welcomes groups of up to 10 who would like a space in which to contemplate, discern or plan. There is space to sit as one group, but also space to break  out into smaller groups, and to be alone. Refreshments are on offer all day. A light lunch can also be provided on request. If you would like to make a booking for your group please contact us.
Suggested donation per person: £10 refreshments only, £20 including lunch.

Self-Guided Quiet Days for individuals
We realise that a guided day with a group is not suitable for everyone, so we also welcome guests who seek quiet space for contemplation alone. Guests are welcome to spend a few hours or all day in the garden, or we can find you somewhere warm in the vicarage from which you can look out onto the garden. If you need spiritual support during your day there will always be someone around for you to talk to. Self-guided quiet days are by appointment only, and need to be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
Suggested donation per person: £5 half day/£10 full day refreshments only, £20 including lunch.

If you would like to book a quiet day for yourself or a group please contact us via the contact form or send us an email to charlecotequietgarden@gmail.com
